Scooperia is two restaurants running at once. Half of it is a bakery — mixing dough, folding in chunks, shaping portions and watching an oven — and the other half is an ice cream counter that cannot start until the bakery finishes. No other game in Flipline's line makes one station's output the mandatory input of another in quite this way, and it gives Scooperia a rhythm all its own.

Every order begins with dough. You choose a cookie base, then fold mixables into it — chocolate chunks, candy pieces and the rest of the list as it unlocks. Those go in before shaping, which means a forgotten mixable cannot be corrected later; it is baked into the cookie or it is not there.

The dough is then divided and shaped into portions on a tray. Tickets ask for particular cookies in particular quantities, and since a single order can call for more than one cookie type, the tray frequently carries two different doughs at the same time.

The Oven Is the Bottleneck

Baking runs on a timer, and it is the longest single wait in the shift. Underbaked cookies and overbaked ones both cost you, and there is no partial credit for being close on a tray with several items.

The correct way to play Scooperia follows directly from this: the oven should never be empty. Get dough in, then take orders, then build the previous customer's sundae, and come back. Any stretch of time where nothing is baking is a stretch you cannot get back, because the ice cream stage is fast and the cookie stage is not.

Building the Sundae on Top

Once the cookies are out, they get broken into the bottom of the bowl and the ice cream goes over them. Scoops are chosen individually — an order can stack up to three, in different flavours — and then come the syrups, the toppings, and a single premium item placed on the peak.

That last placement is graded on position as well as identity, the same way it is in Freezeria. The difference is that by the time you get there in Scooperia you have already spent a minute on the cookies underneath, so a careless final second is worth much more than it looks.

• Start dough for the next order while the current tray is baking. The bakery half is where all your time goes; the sundae half is nearly instant.
• Fold mixables in immediately after choosing the base, before anything else can distract you. It is the one step with no later recovery.
• When one order needs two cookie types, shape both onto the tray together rather than baking two rounds.
• Break cookies into the bowl before scooping, not after — the layers are ordered and the game checks them.
• If your bake grades are the weak spot, upgrade the oven before spending anything on lobby decoration.

The Last Flash Chapter

Scooperia arrived in 2018 and was the final Papa's game released as a browser Flash title. Everything Flipline made afterwards went to mobile and to HTML5 rebuilds, which makes this the end of a run that started with a four-station pizza shop over a decade earlier. You can see the whole arc in it: the tabbed stations from the early games, the tips-and-ranks economy from the middle ones, the holiday rotation from Cupcakeria, and a prep-ahead pipeline in the spirit of Sushiria's steeping rice.

It is also, on its own terms, one of the more generous entries.
